LIVE BLOG: Inauguration of Donald Trump

On January 20, 2017, Donald J. Trump will be inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States.

Trump is expected to deliver a “short” inaugural address. I will be live-blogging my reactions to the ceremonies as a whole, but especially to Trump’s inaugural address.

To see my thoughts, tune into this post, starting at 11am EST (8am PST).

The inauguration itself is free to watch – a live stream provided by YouTube and The White House is embedded below for your convenience.

Initial impressions: Trump’s calls for unity were appreciated, but the rest of his speech was just the usual Trump (America first, MAGA, boo the establishment, end free trade, bomb ISIS, etc. etc. etc.).
It will be interesting to see what happens in the next four years.
